LED (Light Emitting Diode) Dynamic Microphone

The Finished product, when you're not using phantom power the microphone works as normal and still looks 100% like it just came from the Shure factory. Hit the phantom power switch and the mic glows with a strong presence.

For a few $$$ and about two hours of your time its a great mod that will work on any Balanced Dynamic Microphone. The results and accomplishment are really worth the small amount of effort needed to complete the project.

    the microphone works fine, sound exactly the same as it originally did and the polar pattern has not changed.. used it many many times on stage and for recording, works great!!

      Hello!

      I am curious how this mod has held up?

      If it has, I have a question about the wiring difference between your mic and my 55SH Series II.

    Hi. I've just completed this mod with success. Thank-you very much for taking the time to share your knowledge! I did it with a super 55 and 12 LEDs and it works great!!

    In BC, Canada this cost me about $40 in materials.

    There are never enough lights to show your most valuable china or accumulations. LED tackles this predicament. Extend somewhat further and you can see that they can likewise give sufficient brightening to your PC work area. Essentially join them on the underside of the racks with twofold sided tape, and you will consider how you saw anything without them.Best under cabinet led lighting
